Albion have retained the Sussex Senior Cup following a 1-0 win over Crawley Town this afternoon.
Scott Chamberlain's stunning 25-yard strike on the stroke of half-time was enough to give the Seagulls victory in a nervy affair at Eastbourne Borough's Priory Lane.
The midfielder exchanged passes with Shane McFaul before unleashing an unstoppable drive past Crawley keeper Ashley Bayes.
The Blue Square Premier outfit had Albion under the cosh for most of the second half as they went in search of an equaliser, but Ian Chapman's side managed to hold out for the victory.
"I was really pleased how we dug in," Chapman told seagulls.co.uk.
"We were the better side in the first half, and Scott's goal was fitting to win a cup final.
"To be fair to Crawley, they bombarded us in the second half but the boys defended stoutly."
Albion: (4-4-2) Sullivan, Fogden, Pearson, Cobbs, Rents; Martot (Skinner 90) McFaul, Reid, Chamberlain; Gatting, Dixon (Gargan 46). Subs not used: Beda, Louis, Winterton.
