Ferret's Play Off Bets
It's the start of the play-off campaign and that of course means betting opportunities with Bet365.
Let's start in the Championship where Crystal Palace (7/4) and Hull (9/4) are all the rage. I happen to think that it may well go completely the opposite way and would therefore recommend that you take a close look a Bristol City (4/1) and, in particular, Watford (7/2), for your betting interests.
The Hornets have home advantage for the first leg against the Tigers on Sunday and I expect them to make it pay and take a healthy position up to the KC Stadium in mid-week.
In League One, unsurprisingly Leeds (6/4) are the red-hot favourites. Southend (7/2) look attractive, but Carlisle (4/1) have been in the top two for much of this season and if they can lift themselves must be a threat, particularly if Leeds get over-confident in the first leg at Elland Road on Monday.
League Two is the closest of the three. Stockport are most fancies (9/4), but the remaining three competitors are all locked together at 11/4, and out of these three it is Rochdale that attract me the most. They travel to Darlington on Saturday but if they can return to Spotland with no more than a single goal deficit, and ideally an away goal in the bag, then I feel they have a real chance of making it to Wembley - and once they get there, anything could happen!
You should already know that I am on Cardiff to win the FA Cup Final. If you have not already taken them at long odds then the 5/2 offered by Bet365 still represents some value if you want an interest on Saturday week.
Finally, in the Premiership I fear it is goodbye to Steve Coppell's Reading. They travel to Derby needing a win. I think they will only get a draw, and 16/5 is a huge price for that eventuality.
